Cooking results vary
Each recipe here is written for clarity and for a workable method, but the outcome still depends on variables this site cannot control: your ingredients, your stove or oven, your altitude, and your experience with the technique involved. Treat the times and quantities given as a tested starting point, not a guaranteed result.
Food safety is your responsibility in the kitchen
Any recipe involving raw meat, poultry, eggs, dairy or deep frying includes food-safety notes: safe internal temperatures, safe storage windows. Those notes are offered in good faith, but safe handling in your own kitchen is your responsibility — check that ingredients are fresh, cook meat and poultry to a safe internal temperature, and discard anything that looks or smells off.
This site never recommends unsafe oil reuse — repeated reheating past the smoke point, indefinite mixing of old and new oil, or improper storage of used oil all fall outside what is suggested here.
Not medical or nutritional advice
Nothing published here counts as medical, dietary or nutritional advice. No calorie count or nutritional figure appears on this site, and no ingredient is claimed to treat, prevent or cure a medical condition. A food allergy, an intolerance, or a diet-related medical condition calls for a qualified professional's input and a careful read of ingredient labels before anything gets cooked or eaten.
Regional and historical claims
Regional and origin context gets researched carefully, but much of this history was passed down orally, and gaps or disputes are common. An uncertain or contested claim is marked that way instead of presented as settled.
